DORK OVER A GEEK ANY DAY

Well it's finally snowing here. The rest of the state has enjoyed a snow storm or two while we just had to put up with the cold. In my opinion, if it's going to be cold, then it really should be snowing. Cold=BORING, Cold+Snow= COOL. Anyway, the picture is from last year and today the streets are just wet, but it is snowing and that's all that really matters.
The Tietz's are coming into town tonight, depending on the weather.
P.S. The garage door update: It now goes up and down. But, and this is a big but(HA big but)(I'm such a DORK, but at least I'm not a GEEK like Erin), the door doesn't have the structural integrity to be hooked backup to the garage door opener! How the BEEP does that happen? So to park my car inside I have get out of the car, open the door manually, get back in the car, pull in, then close the door manually. I feel like I'm living in a world before such luxuries as the microwave, cell phones or even the internet. I do realize that I left myself open to a bunch of snobbery jokes, so be it.

  1. God, it's like the OLDEN days. Imagine if you had to park outside ALL the TIME, like some poor slobs. Poor bastards. Parkin' outdoors. Sucks to be them. Er, ME. Right, it sucks to be ME.

    Yay for snow.
    Yay for Tietzs.
Yay for phrases like "structural integrity". Good stuff, right there.

  2. As I hear and see pictures of snow and how cold it is there, I think of how lucky I am to be in warm, 85 degree weather. I am still in Miami enjoying the palm trees, the water, friends, family and a lot of generous spoilage. I don't even know if that's a word, but I'm sticking to it. I do have to say that I was quite jealous that you all got to see the Tietz and everyone was together. I am also very jealous that you went to the Pickle Barrel. Yummy! I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving and enjoy your time off from work.
