Well we have moved into the new PAD. The house is great, really liking having space, backyard and no attached walls with anyone again. The only complaint I do have is an annoying pest that thinks my house is a dead tree.
Most people including myself, would call this PEST a woodpecker. But I have been told by neighbors that it is actually a Northern Flicker and I have also been instructed that woodpeckers, flickers and nuthatches (like most birds) are protected by strict state and federal laws. I am calling BIG OLE HORSE SHIT on that BULL SHIT. That's right, I called it. This leaves me with no other option but to throw tennis balls at them when they come near. I have come close but haven't been able to hit one YET! I am sure I make quite the spectacle of myself. My grandmother suggested just "peppering" it with my shot gun. I guess to her "protected by strict state and federal laws" is just a suggestion or she wants me to go to jail for birdicide.
In other news, I am forced into calling HORSE SHIT ONCE AGAIN......I know, two in one day is unheard of. The original, the one who made me start this stupid thing has been SHUT DOWN, that's right Erin has pulled the plug on her website.....DEAD. It is true that she never updated it, but the pictures....the memories. I feel like a little of me died today too. Okay maybe not?
I missed Curt's going away party because I am an IDIOT. So if anyone sees Curt, tell them good luck in Washington.
JODI had a baby tiet. Now she has a nice pair of Tietz's to play with.

Logan Jonathan Tietz.
9 lbs 10 oz, and 20.5" long.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Dude. You should TOTALLY have cliff divers at your house. I mean, come ON! That would be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the pictures and the memories are all still EXISTING, just not on the internet, where I have to PAY FOR THEM. It'll be okay.
How ironic...up until yesterday i called them woodpeckers as well, until my neighbor corrected me by calling them flickers. who knew!?
ReplyDeleteHoly shit Brad!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me Kudos on your site!! I am sooo happy. Yes, I now have two Tietz. Big ol' ones they are too!! xoxox
