If you have every met Jett, you know she can be a "little" on the wild side.

Some have wondered how she is doing with Eason.

Turns out that Jett is a great babysitter

TUBING THE POUDRE

OH YEAH, we hit the Cache la Poudre river again in our luxurious black tubes. No matter how much air we put in them, they still had that annoying flat spot which allows your donkey to drag on rocks and such... not good. We are definitely hitting up Walmart next time for tubes that have cup holders.
Timmay and Sam were running late so we left them in the dust.  They wanted to wait until the clouds moved in and it started to rain.. BRILLIANT.

This year wasn't without its excitement. On the first few rapids B-rett tipped over and had a hard time getting up.  In Brett's defense, his tube was way to small for him, making him super top heavy.  It was a great wipe-out, but along with the toss came more bad news.  He lost his wedding ring.  I am pretty sure they were thinking about splitting up anyway.  You can't argue with mother nature.

Lori had a great time but was worried about the car. She kept asking, "Where is the car?" and "How much farther to the car?"  To her relief, it was right where we left it.
The "CLASSIC" self portrait, which of course stems from being the second child..... who's parents never really took any photos of.  Growing up I was always saying "Take my picture" which was immediately answered "We already have a picture of Brian doing that". SWEET.  Hence, the "CLASSIC" self portraits everywhere I go.

Jen had her own excitement as she flew off on some rapids, went under face first, came up simultaneously saving her hat, sunglasses and grabbing the tube. I have never seen her do anything that fast. She then rode it like a sled down the rapids.  It was hilarious as I had a front row tube (I was right behind her).  In Jen's defense, she traded tubes with Brett and was riding his tiny tube.

On the ride back up the canyon I am sure we looked like hillbillies, as we were too lazy to tie the tubes on to the car.  Instead we rolled down the windows and held the tubes outside the car.  Fellow tubers were laughing at as we drove by.  The tubes started bouncing in the wind so we couldn't go very fast. Which of course made the line of traffic behind us very happy.

LIFE IS GOOD TODAY!

So we had some family in town last week.  They came see me. But they sure liked Eason.
Jayde & Clayton

Sorry no Photo of DANITA
 Keegan & Lainey

Shane & Lainey

They are from Nebraska.....yes we feel sorry for them

Luckily my parents came.  Did I mention they own a liquor store (they sell ADULT BEVERAGES FOR A LIVING). BEST JOB EVER!
This is very convenient since "I like Adult Beverages!"
Eason was SO excited
Even my dad was going CRAZY

Which embarrassed my niece and nephew
and me (Not really me... I got over it many years ago)

Eason got to swim for the first time and he loved it.
(If you look closely you can see Danita's head)
He got to hang out with his new cousin
Lainey and Eason became best buds.
Until Eason got HUNGRY. We will miss you Lainey.....just kidding.

I wanted to say thank you to the Homewood Suites in Fort Collins for their hospitality!
They went above and beyond.
Of course except for the guy my uncle almost beat the crap out of when they checked in.
