WELCOME TO THE ROCK

Saturday morning we decided to hike up to Horsetooth Rock. It is a five mile round trip hike.

Jen, I call her "FLORIDA" thought Melissa & I were trying to kill her when we started to climb the rocks.

Let's go FLORIDA!

She, kept saying, "I am never doing this again" as she hates heights & was terrified of the trip back down.

Half way up the rock she decided she would go no more! Melissa & I waited with her for a while but the 20 feet to the top was calling our name.
The view from the top was amazing. Melissa & I took FLORIDA's snack, water & camera with us in an attempt to get her all the way to the top. You can't hike 2.49 miles of a 2.5 mile hike & call it good.

Looking good Mr. & Mrs. CARRTTEEERR!

Finally, after the third 80 year old passed her...

she got the nerve to come the last 20 feet to the top.

I am thinking about calling her "MOUNTAIN GOAT".
